BHOPAL/Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Saturday hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 12 years in office as a landmark period of transformative governance, marked by robust welfare initiatives, infrastructure push, and enhanced global standing for India.
Addressing an event in Bhopal as part of the BJP’s ongoing media outreach programme to mark the completion of Modi’s term, the leaders underscored the achievements in public service, economic development, and national security.
CM Yadav described Modi’s tenure — making him India’s longest-serving continuously elected PM — as a historic milestone in the country’s democratic journey. “It is our good fortune that after independence, PM Modi has set a new record as a non-Congress PM by serving the longest period with good governance, enhancing the prestige of India’s democracy,” Yadav said.
He highlighted the government’s firm stance against enemies, emphasis on good governance, and welfare schemes that have reached millions, including free rations for over 81 crore people, housing, and poverty alleviation efforts. Yadav drew parallels with the ideal of ‘Ram Rajya’ and expressed confidence that under Modi’s leadership, India is poised to become the world’s leading nation.
Pradhan echoed the sentiment, stating that the BJP is reaching out to people across the country through various initiatives following the 12-year milestone.
“Following the completion of 12 years of PM Modi’s leadership, we are reaching out to people across the country through various initiatives. As per the party’s plan, I am in Bhopal today,” Pradhan said.
The events highlight the Modi government’s focus on garib kalyan, self-reliance, digital transformation, and India’s rising global profile. Leaders have pointed to achievements in infrastructure, women’s empowerment, and inclusive development as key pillars of this journey.
BJP state chief Hemant Khandelwal also addressed the press and listed the achievements of the Modi government in his twelve-year tenure.
At the event, Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Dewra, BJP’s state in-charge Mahendra Singh, party’s state general secretary Rahul Kothari and state media in-charge Ashish Agrawal were present.
