Ujjain: ‘Sisters’ Tie Rakhi to MP CM Yadav

UJJAIN: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav celebrated Raksha Bandhan with women police personnel and employees at the VVIP Guest House and Police Community Hall in Ujjain on Friday.

Women from the Home Department applied tilak to Yadav and tied raksha sutras on his wrist. Women employees and security personnel of the Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple Committee, along with women sanitation workers of the Municipal Corporation, also tied rakhis to the Chief Minister.

Yadav interacted with the women and received their blessings before presenting gifts to them. Extending greetings on the occasion, he said Raksha Bandhan was a sacred festival that strengthens love, affection, trust and the bond between brothers and sisters. He wished happiness, prosperity and well-being for all women.

MLA Anil Jain Kaluheda, Ujjain Development Authority Chairman Ravi Solanki, Singhastha Mela Authority Chairman Jagdish Agrawal, senior administrative and police officials, public representatives and others attended the programme.
