BHOPAL/Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will participate in the two-day FAITH Conclave 2026 in New Delhi on July 16 and 17, where policymakers and industry leaders will deliberate on strategies to accelerate tourism-led economic growth.
Organised by the Federation of Associations in Indian Tourism and Hospitality (FAITH), the conclave is themed “Incredible India: Invaluable Economics” and aims to promote tourism as a key driver of economic development, employment generation and regional growth.
The event will deliberate on a time-bound Tourism Growth Charter to boost the country’s travel and tourism sector. Key proposals include granting infrastructure status to tourism, developing 50 destinations in mission mode, and strengthening the global promotion of the Brand India campaign.
The conclave will also focus on simplifying visa procedures, encouraging investment in tourism infrastructure and enhancing private sector participation through single-window clearance mechanisms.
Yadav’s participation in the industry forum is expected to showcase Madhya Pradesh’s tourism potential and provide an opportunity to highlight the state’s investment prospects in the tourism and hospitality sectors before key stakeholders.
