MP: Anshuman Yadav Appointed ADG Intelligence

BHOPAL: The Madhya Pradesh government has effected a major administrative reshuffle, appointing 1998-batch IPS officer Anshuman Yadav as the new Additional Director General (ADG) of Intelligence.

Yadav was serving as the Director of Sports and Youth Welfare Department. He has now been shifted to the Police Headquarters and entrusted with the charge of the Intelligence wing, considered a key and sensitive assignment in the state police establishment.

In addition, Yadav has been given the additional charge of ADG, Cyber, at the Police Headquarters.

The Intelligence wing is responsible for gathering and analysing information related to internal security and other sensitive matters, making the post one of the crucial assignments in the police department.

Meanwhile, ADG of the Special Armed Force (SAF) Chanchal Shekhar has been appointed as the new Director of the Sports and Youth Welfare Department.
