BHOPAL: The Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company (MP Transco) has appointed 351 new personnel in the first phase of its recruitment drive to strengthen the state’s power transmission network, Energy Minister Pradhuman Singh Tomar said.
The appointments have been made across different categories following completion of the selection process undertaken on the directions of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav. The newly recruited workforce includes 55 Class II officers, 173 Class III employees and 123 Class IV employees.
Tomar congratulated the newly appointed personnel and urged them to work with dedication, efficiency and a strong sense of responsibility, keeping the interests of electricity consumers as the top priority. He said the addition of young and trained manpower would further strengthen the state’s transmission system.
The minister said MP Transco was filling vacant positions in a phased manner to improve the operation, maintenance and expansion of the transmission network. The recruitment is expected to enhance the company’s technical and operational capabilities and contribute to providing reliable and quality power transmission services across the state.
MP Transco Chief Engineer (Human Resources and Administration) Dhirendra Singh said the 351 recruits include 55 Assistant Engineers, 166 Junior Engineers (Transmission), seven Junior Engineers (Civil), 89 Substation Attendants, 24 Civil Attendants and 10 Surveyor Attendants.
The newly appointed personnel are being provided technical and functional training to prepare them for their respective responsibilities within the company.
