NEW DELHI: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav met Ethiopian President Taye Atske Selassie during his visit to the UAE and discussed opportunities for investment and business cooperation between Ethiopia and the central Indian state.
During the meeting, Yadav highlighted Madhya Pradesh’s investment potential, industrial ecosystem and favourable business environment. He also briefed the Ethiopian side on opportunities available across various sectors in the state and encouraged businesses from the country to explore investment prospects in Madhya Pradesh.
Yadav invited President Selassie to participate in the upcoming Global Investors Summit (GIS) to be hosted by Madhya Pradesh. He said the state was playing an important role in India’s growth story and offered several emerging opportunities for global investors.
The discussions also focused on strengthening India-Ethiopia economic ties and exploring avenues for greater investment and commercial cooperation between Madhya Pradesh and Ethiopia.
The meeting is part of Madhya Pradesh’s efforts to engage with international investors and expand the state’s global business partnerships.
