RSS Chief Bhagwat Says: Hindus Have to Remain Hindu, Then India Will Have to Be ‘Akhand’

BHOPAL / Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat advocated the need for undivided India and stressed that Bharat is Hindustan and if Hindus want to stay as Hindus then Bharat needs to become ‘Akhand’. He was addressing an event organized in Madhya Pradesh’s Gwalior on Saturday evening.

Bhagwat said it has been observed that these days, the number and the strength of Hindus have decreased…or the emotion of Hindutva has decreased.

“Hindu and India cannot be separated. If India has to remain India, then India has to be Hindu. If Hindus have to remain Hindu, then India will have to be united,” the RSS chief said.
He emphasized that the Hindus and Bharat are primitively connected with the ‘Bharatbhoomi’, and they are not different from each other.

Bhagwat said, “this is Hindustan and Hindu people have been living here by tradition, all those things which are called Hindus have developed in this land. Everything about India is related to its motherland of India.

Bhagwat is on a three-day visit to Gwalior to attend a camp of the RSS volunteers, holding for demonstrating drum playing. The Sangh chief has arrived there to address the four-day ‘Swar Sadhak Sangam’ Shivir of the volunteer. The RSS volunteers from the ‘Madhya Bharat Prant’ have gathered to participate in the camp. Bhagwat arrived in Gwalior on 26 November and will depart on 28 November from there.

On this occasion, MP chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also addressed the gathering.

CM Chouhan has said that Media before independence was full of patriotism. Later time changes and then communists arrived which made various conspiracy to break the nation but again, the era of patriotic media has come where cow slaughter, abrogation of Article 370 from Kashmir and other issues of national interest were being presented in front of the readers, Chouhan said. “But now, an era of journalistic objectivity has started”, Chouhan said.

“Those who were opposing Ram, are now reciting ‘Ram Dhun’. A lot has changed in the last 5-10 years. There are also some changes coming to the fore where rich people are launching TV channels and newspapers. A few liquor contractors, sand mafia also launched newspapers for their protection,” CM said.

Earlier, the RSS chief had a one-to-one discussion with the selected office-bearers during his visit to the exhibition held in the camp. Bhagwat interacted with Ghosh players and workers in small groups in the camp and discussed their views. It is believed that it is a preparation for mission 2024.
