BHOPAL/Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually inaugurate the redeveloped Tikamgarh Railway Station under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme on Friday, with Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav participating in the event during his visit to Tikamgarh district.
During the programme, Yadav will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for development projects worth over ₹189 crore across the district, according to an official statement.
Among the key projects are the inauguration of Sandipani Vidyalayas at Jatara and Badagaon Dhasan, constructed at a combined cost of ₹67.81 crore, and the foundation stone laying for a new Sandipani Vidyalaya at Khargapur, to be built at a cost of ₹40.48 crore.
The Chief Minister will also inaugurate and lay foundation stones for several infrastructure and public welfare projects in the district. Besides reviewing development initiatives, he will distribute benefits to beneficiaries of various state government welfare schemes.
The redeveloped Tikamgarh Railway Station is among the stations upgraded under the Centre’s Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, aimed at modernising railway infrastructure and enhancing passenger amenities across the country.
The visit forms part of the state government’s ongoing focus on strengthening education, infrastructure and public service delivery while accelerating development in the Bundelkhand region.
