MP Transport Department Initiative: CM’s Audio/Video Clips being Played in Public Buses to Promote ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign
BHOPAL / In a unique initiative to spread awareness about the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga(HGT)’ campaign, the Madhya Pradesh Transport Department is running audio/video clips of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in public buses, which is appealing to the public to hoist the national flag.
The department has also provided more than 1 lakh Tricolours to the drivers of public transportation across the state so far.
Additional Transport commissioner Arvind Saxena said that on the appeal of the CM, the department was running many campaigns to promote the HGT drive to host the national flag from 13 August to 15 August under the aegis of ‘Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav’, and people are being made aware through conducting various activities by the field officials of the department. The state headquarters of the department is situated in Gwalior.
Massive autorickshaw and bike rallies with public participation have been organised by the RTOs in Narmadapuram(Manoj Tehanguria), Rewa(Manish Tripathi) and Harda, and in other districts also, several activities were conducted by the department to spread awareness among the people about the HGT campaign, Saxena further added. The collector of Narmadapuram, Neeraj Kumar Singh has also taken part in the rally organised by the district transport officer.
In the transport offices, videos, which were made prepared by the state government are being run on the TVs fitted in the visitor hall. For spreading awareness in the rural areas, the teams of the department have been engaged at the Mandi campuses to glue the stickers and Tricolours on the oncoming tractor-trolleys.
