JU VC unfurles National flag, highlights varsity achievements

National flag hoisting ceremony was held at the Jiwaji University JU campus.Vice-chancellor prof. Avinash Tiwari unfurled the national flag. Ceremony which was organised to celebrate the country’s 74th Republic day.He focused on cleanliness drive and quality education.

Speaking on the occassion, prof. Tiwari paid respect  to the great leader who have guided the nation on the path of progress.He urged all to worked together to make JU prosperous.He also highlighted various achievements of the university and inspired the members of faculty, employees and students to work for the improvement of university .

In his adress ,JU VC extended  greetings to the students and  employees of the varsity, He said,JU has progressed and prospered in all respects.He highlighted on importance of cleanliness and praises for sanitation coverage in University. He said University is taking effective measures to offer a significant numbers of skill oriented programmes for making students self sufficient.

The function was attended by faculty of various departments, non-teaching staff and students .

A cultural program was also organised on this occasion.students falicitated for excellence in extra curricular activities.
