NEW DELHI: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Monday invited global investors to invest in the state, highlighting its central location in India, strong connectivity, industrial ecosystem and investor-friendly policies at the AIM Congress-2026 held at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Yadav said Madhya Pradesh was rapidly emerging as one of India’s leading industrial states and assured investors of complete administrative support. “Your files will not wait on government office desks; the government will stand shoulder to shoulder with you,” he said, stressing the state’s focus on quickly translating investment proposals into projects.
He said the AIM Congress had evolved beyond traditional investment to become a platform for global innovation, economic partnerships and new opportunities amid changes in global supply chains, geopolitics, artificial intelligence and green development.
Highlighting India-UAE economic ties, Yadav said the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), implemented in 2022, had opened new opportunities in trade, investment, logistics and digital cooperation. Bilateral trade between India and the UAE has crossed $100 billion, with both countries targeting $200 billion by 2032, he said, adding that Madhya Pradesh could play an important role in achieving the target.
The Chief Minister invited investors from the UAE and other countries to explore opportunities in food processing and agribusiness, textiles and garments, pharmaceuticals, engineering and manufacturing, logistics and warehousing, renewable energy, digital infrastructure, data centres and emerging technologies.
He described agriculture and food processing as major areas of potential cooperation, saying Madhya Pradesh could emerge as a reliable long-term supplier to the UAE and Gulf region. The state is a major producer of soybean, wheat, pulses, maize and spices. Investments in cold chains, grading, storage and food processing could help connect farmers to international markets and improve returns.
Yadav also highlighted the state’s textile heritage, saying traditional products such as Chanderi and Maheshwari textiles were being linked with modern textile parks and garment manufacturing. Industrial centres such as Pithampur, Mandideep and Malanpur, he said, have developed strong capabilities in automobile, engineering, electronics and high-tech manufacturing.
He said the UAE could serve as a gateway for Madhya Pradesh to markets across the Middle East, Africa and Europe, while the state’s central location, Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor, expressway network and multimodal logistics infrastructure offered strategic advantages to investors.
During the visit, Yadav inaugurated a Madhya Pradesh pavilion at AIM Congress-2026, showcasing the state’s industrial infrastructure, land bank, investment policies and sector-specific opportunities. The pavilion also displayed GI-tagged and One District One Product items, including Chanderi sarees, Maheshwari sarees, Batik prints, Zari-Zardozi, Betul’s bell-metal craft and Gwalior carpets.
Yadav also met Arab Parliament President Mohammed Ahmed Al Yamahi to discuss cooperation in trade, investment, agriculture, tourism and education. He invited Arab investors and a business delegation to visit Madhya Pradesh and participate in the Global Investors Summit-2027.
The Chief Minister said the Madhya Pradesh-UAE partnership extended beyond investment to shared economic growth and long-term cooperation, and called for collective efforts to make the state a major global hub for investment, manufacturing and innovation.
